By day you explore the animals and the historic park; after sunset, the light festival gives the zoo a whole new atmosphere. From 4 December 2026 to 3 January 2027, Antwerp's city centre turns into an atmospheric winter setting full of lights and warmth. From Park Lane, it's an easy walk to the historic centre, where the Christmas market, illuminated squares and winter activities await. Take a spin on the ice rink, admire the city from the Ferris wheel and warm up with mulled wine or hot chocolate at one of the chalets.
Afterwards, you're back at Park Lane in no time to relax and unwind.

Celebrate Christmas at Van der Valk Hotel Park Lane and enjoy a festive buffet on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, complemented by refined à la carte dishes: there's something for everyone. The next morning, enjoy an extensive Christmas breakfast with, among other things, pancakes, avocado toast, freshly squeezed fruit juice, and delicious breakfast cookies.
